What is laser? The word laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. A laser is a high-energy beam of light that can selectively transfer its energy into tissue to treat the skin. Lasers contain a material that produces and amplifies light. A carbon dioxide laser emits a high-energy beam of infrared (invisible to the human eye) radiation in the form of light waves that has many veterinary applications. From a destructive science fiction we read, now we use the laser for surgery because of the many benefits. Benefits from laser surgery treatment are:- Pain reduction compare to post operative pain from scalpel blades, reduction in swelling inflammation is a result of interaction with the circulatory and lymphatic systems.
- Swelling Reduction from an incision with either a scalpel blade or scissors inflammation from the affected tissue.
- Control of Infection because the laser beam operates at a temperature of over 200 degrees Fahrenheit which highly and effectively kill bacteria
- Minimal Surgical Bleeding from incision with scalpel blade and less bleeding means less anesthetic time and faster recovery time.
Clinic Protecting from Laser accidentEye protection is necessary for everyone present during the procedure. Extra goggles and laser masks should be available outside the door for staff members who may need to enter the room while the surgery is in progress. It's may look harmless but precaution is our standard treatment in our clinic
